The company was started in 1996 by Victor Bergh after having worked in the industry for 5 years. Initially it started as a one man operation and gradually grew to the leader in the Cape Town area. With careful planning and inclusion of staff, the company now has a formidable team under the leadership of Mr. Dean Newman. The key to the success of the company can be ascribed to our motivated staff as well as a sense of pride in our work and a willingness to respond to new challenges.

Mansvelt Construction has been trading since 2004. Ian Mansvelt is the owner of this company specializing in the upper residential side of the construction market. He has been working in this industry for 15 years now of which he has been in Cape Town for 9 years.

Prior to this he was working for large construction companies as Project Manager doing more commercial type projects in Johannesburg as well as residential type developments.

Mansvelt Construction is experienced with doing ‘Lumpsum Contracts’ in accordance with the JBCC minor works, and the principle agreements.

Mansvelt Construction is also prepared to work on a project management type basis which would be negotiated with you.
